Finn's law this ammendment follows the stabbing of a police dog named finn , sadly finn sustained stab wounds to the hed and chest , at the time the only charges bought fowerd were criminal damages against his attacker. as of june 2021 finns law part two has increased the maximum prison sentence for such animal cruelty from six months to five yeares with an unlimated fine
